Winnipeg Beach Elementary School PAC meets monthly

on the third Tuesday of each school month at 7:00 p.m. in the library.

Dear Parent/Guardian & Community;

It has come to my attention that there are many in the community that do not know what PAC is. I hope by writing this letter to you it will explain our non-profit organization.

PAC, Parent Advisory Council, is non-profit organization that is in co-operation with schools, in our case, Winnipeg Beach Elementary School. We support, advise and implement different programs, projects and events, to help our students have a successful and healthy social community through education.

Part of a non-profit organization, which I’m sure you are aware, is sponsoring different fundraisers. Our council, made up of, parents’, guardians’ and community citizens sponsor between 4 to 5 fundraiser a year.

 Last year PAC was able to provide:

Ø  Couch and books for the library

Ø  3 DVD players

Ø   Marimba instrument for music

Ø  New mats for Phys. Ed

Ø   $100.00 for each class-K to 7

Ø  Music Sound and Recording System

Ø  Treat Days

Ø  Donation of $1500 for the installation of Basketball Nets

And these are just a few things that PAC and our community have been able to contribute to the students and their school.
