Our PAC (Parent Advisory Council) meets monthly on the third Monday of each school month at 7:00 PM. The purpose of the council is to serve in an advisory capacity to school administration. In this capacity they provide input on school policies, programs, initiatives and the school plan. Additionally, they undertake fundraising, and provide information to parents. The PAC operates according to a constitution and under the direction of an executive, which is elected each year in the fall.
Projects include the Daily Fruit and Breakfast Program, Pizza Days, Teacher Appreciation Week celebrations, providing parent helpers for book sales, upgrading the playground facilities, providing funding for various instructional materials including Accelerated Math, and new books for the library. The major fundraising activity each year is the Annual Craft Fair held in November.
